A career as a Head of Cyber Security, within BCB Group, will provide you with the opportunity to assist the organisation in developing analytics and technology solutions that help them detect, monitor, and predict risk. Your role would be to assist our business to protect and manage its risk related to information regarding technology, people, systems, processes, culture, and physical surroundings. Your role will include understanding our current capability and develop a plan to target cyber security investment, helping BCB Group to respond to actual cyber incidents, and advising on legal issues related to breaches, data privacy, and protection.
- Extensive IT Security Strategy, IT Risk & Compliance Experience.
- Experience with various industry standards/regulations such as ISO27001, COBIT, Privacy Regulations, PCI-DSS.
- Extensive experience in managing IT risk assessments, developing control frameworks & security patterns.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Qualification in one or more project management methodologies preferred.
- Exposure to full life-cycle experience in large projects.
- Proactively identify project risks and escalate to project stakeholders.
- Actively establish & strengthen relationships with external and internal customers.
- Assist in developing knowledge assets such as methodologies, templates, white papers etc.
- Work in a team and develop lesser experienced members in the team.
- Suggest ideas on improving.
- Proactively assist in the management of several projects.
- Train and lead staff.
- Establish effective working relationships directly with the business.
- Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen.
- Document client requirements, business environment and people capabilities, systems and processes in relation to cyber security and related disciplines.
- Perform research into client environments and industry cyber security solutions and tools.
- Understand and interpret business requirements relating to information security.
- Actively participate and manage portions of project delivery.
- Fulfil various project assignments as required.
- Participate in the design and delivery of end-to-end cyber security solutions which are enabled by technology.
- Think independently and creatively when formulating solutions.
- Develop a working knowledge of cyber security and data protection requirements and their applications within a business context.
- Support and take on minor project management activities.
- Maintain and develop technical skills in the field of cyber security and data protection.
