The Sunday Times: Donald Trump’s crypto boost risks leaving the UK behind – Our CEO comments

Our Co-founder and CEO, Oliver Tonkin, spoke to William Turnbill, Chief Business Correspondent at The Sunday Times about the size of the UK crypto market, in the light of President Trump’s embrace of digital currencies.

Oliver Tonkin said he understands why there has been “wariness” to embrace the sector ahead of international peers. He said: “Can you imagine the opprobrium that would have been heaped on the FCA [if FTX had been based in the UK rather than the Bahamas]?”
